Eva Mendes for Seductive Comfort

Eva Mendes is the model and spokesperson for Calvin Klein's sexy new line, Seductive Comfort.

The line features a T-Shirt Bra, an Underwire Bra, and a Customized Lift Bra, and is specially designed to be comfortable for curvier women.

CK's researchers found that 75% of women who go bra shopping are looking, first and foremost, for something comfortable. That's why the bras are 25% spandex with microfiber and plush straps, and feature a cushion for the hook and eye in the back.

Read on for more information and our sexy gallery of Eva Mendes showing off how comfortable she is!

According to Calvin Klein representatives, most bra-makers make one cup size, like the B, to fit perfectly, then figure the other sizes mathematically. Not Seductive Comfort. Calvin Klein spent two years perfecting prototypes of each of the three new bras in each size.

The sizes range from 30 to 38, A-DD. Interesting fact: With the Customized Lift Bra, the amount of padding decreases as the cup size increases (a sneaky plot to make all breasts the same size).

All right, here it is, check out the gorgeous Eva Mendes in all her comfortable glory!

The new Love Charity bracelet features a mini Love bracelet in 18K rose gold with an inset diamond on knotted silk cord (navy for The Art of Elysium) and retails for $700, $150 going to one of 24 charities depending on the cord color you choose. Available at Cartier boutiques nationwide.

A little history on the Love bracelet: It's been around for over 30 years and in the past three years, Cartier has donated more that $4.5 million to 24 global charities from the sales of the Love Charity bracelet.

Jewelry that supports creativity, charity and children ... what's not to love?

Ah, love. It’s arguably the most inspiring concept in the arts.

Take music for instance. Just think of all the songs with the word “Love” in the title: “Love Me Tender,” “The Lovecats,” “Love in an Elevator,” well, you get the point.

But it’s also a major influence in jewelry. Um, heard of Cartier’s Love Collection? Thought so.

Love Charity Ambassador Eva Mendes was on hand at the Cartier Mansion in NYC to announce the new Cartier Love Charity bracelet benefiting The Art of Elysium, a non-profit organization that encourages musicians, artists and actors to volunteer their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions.

DIY Design - Your Virtual Sewing Circle

While sewing can be a solo sport, there's a whole community of sewers gathering online to exchange ideas and share knowledge. In fact, it's like a virtual sewing circle.

Here's where to go to get plugged in:

PatternReview.com - The tag line, "helping you sew smarter everyday," says it all and is what keeps its many members coming back to discuss patterns they've been stitching up. But there's more to this very active site than just pattern reviews. You'll find online sewing classes, articles, tips and a whole lot more. It's well worth your time. BurdaStyle.com - If a sewer could dream of the best science project ever, it would no doubt be this site; an open-source online sewing community, where you can upload patterns, projects, photos and tutorials to share with other members, and in turn download theirs. With more than 250,000 members, that's a lot of information. CraftStylish.com - Perfect for a quick shot of inspiration and the sewing section is crammed with projects and articles (719, to date(!), ranging from kitschy to sophisticated. They cover a variety of levels, so there's a something-for-everyone culture. TheSewingDivas.com - To take your sewing to the next level, you'll definitely want to bookmark this online destination. It's maintained by three sewing divas who can tell you how to finish off a garment with a lead-weight hem, navigate a tricky pattern or whip up a little macrame-embellished top (just like on the "Project Runway's" last episode!). These ladies know sewing, so stick with them. WestCoastCrafty.com - Portland-based Susan Beal has got to be the most connected sewing (and crafting) blogger on the web. Her site has a way of inviting you in and making you feel like you've just settled into her living room with a bunch of her cool, creative friends. This blog is worth a visit just to get to know her circle -- it's at the forefront of the handmade revolution. This is only a start. For even more online resources, check out this earlier DIY Design column.

Amber Eden is the former editor-in-chief of Threads magazine and founding editor of SewStylish magazine and CraftStylish.com. She has studied draping and haute couture techniques at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and according to her, will probably be a student there for life.

Wgal Divine Design- Discount Shopping for a Great

Divine Design: Discount Shopping for a Great Cause
The rock-bottom economy has caused an influx of designer sample sales. But with so many options and so little time, might we suggest Divine Design: a shopping extravaganza (and no, we don't use the word lightly) that benefits Project Angel Food.

In fact, 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the non-profit, which prepares and delivers meals to people with HIV/AIDS and other terminal diseases throughout the Los Angeles area.

Brands as diverse as Theory, Vivre, J Brand, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Nanette Lepore will be for sale and auction, at prices up to 80 percent off. (The complete list of designers -- which is truly staggering -- is available here.)

The VIP portion of the event began today, but it opens for the general public beginning tomorrow. The sale runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., through December 8, at 9900 Wilshire in Beverly Hills.

We see this as the perfect opportunity to start tackling our gift-giving list while giving something back. Admission is $25, or $10 with a printable coupon from the Divine Design site. But considering that every $5 buys a meal for a person in need, you may be tempted to skip the discount altogether.

Jjwd Christian Louboutin Thinks You Need Havaianas

Christian Louboutin Thinks You Need Havaianas
He might be the king of high heels, but even Christian Louboutin knows that women can't live in stilettos alone. In fact, when asked how many pairs of shoes a woman should have, he said, "Every woman should own three pairs of shoes -- high heels, flats, and Havaianas."

The designer isn't all talk, either -- in an interview about the opening of his new Sao Paulo store, he admitted owning 30 to 40 pairs of Havaianas himself. And yeah, that's a lot of comfy flip flops, but considering most of them are in the $20 range, it's not quite as extravagant as, say, 30 to 40 pairs of Loubs.

However, not all Havaianas are so inexpensive -- our own Annie Scott just reviewed a wicked cool pair of glow-in-the-dark skull flips that retail for $28, and if you check out the Limited Edition section, you'll find the Slim Crystal Mesh style for $198.

The beauty of Havaianas are that, aside from being insanely comfortable, they come in a million different styles, so there's sure to be something that suits your style. Shop them below!

bqtw Chris Benz Fall 2010 – Runway Review_460

DESIGNER: Chris Benz

INSPIRATION:
The great outdoors meets renegade debutantes

TOP LOOKS: Camo-colored fur with mint green dress with embellished crystal detail; cheery plaid ensembles such as suits, coats and jackets; shiny lurex cropped jacked with warm blue mini-dress; tangerine day dress with matching vest and hood

ACCESSORIES:
Fur! In the form of hats, hoods, and mittens.

WHO WAS THERE: Susan Sarandon, Kelly Osbourne, editors galore

WHAT WE THOUGHT: With almost entirely black collections so prevalent on the runways for fall, walking into Chris Benz’s presentation on the West Side of Manhattan was a much needed breath of (colorful) air. The designer prides himself on utilizing bright palettes and did so with aplomb this season. Fabrics – such as shiny lurex, soft crochet knits, and plush furs – were as diverse as the assortment of colorful hues.

There was a silk tie-dyed gown in hues of peach, chartreuse, and blue; a nectarine orange day dress with matching vest and fur hat; an embellished lime green mini-dress with matching camouflage fur hoodie. Plaids were imagined in funky checked combos of yellow, purples, pinks and green and came in the form a suit, coat, and low-rise cropped pants. The latter was paired with a sleeveless floral print top with cutouts and worn under a super embellished matching plaid jacket. It was a look Benz’s devil-may-care debutante would pull off glamorously in detention.

Evir Christian Louboutin promises to make walking

Christian Louboutin promises to make walking in high heels literally impossible
We love high -- sky high, teeteringly high, sometimes even painfully high -- heels. And Christian Louboutin is answering the call of insane women everywhere who don't believe heels are high enough by producing the world's first eight-inch heel.Just for some perspective, Louboutin's current "It" shoe -- the studded, strappy punk pump spotted on the likes of Posh -- clocked in at a measly 5 inches.

We suggest lots of calf raises (and perhaps a Valium) before you strap these babies on.

**Update: In response to some of the comments, while fetish and stripper shoes have in fact offered "8-inch heels," Louboutin announced his plan to attempt an 8-inch heel sans platform, and made the "world's first 8-inch heel" pronouncement himself (see news article link). This year, a few designers created 6-inch heels -- minus any platforms -- which celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow wore.**
